Terms of Service

Pisces RPG ("Pisces") is an AI-driven text role-playing game. These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and the operator. By signing in or buying credits you accept them.

1. Who operates Pisces

Pisces is operated by Alexander Arnesen, a private individual based in Norway. You can reach the operator at alexanderarnesen+pisces@gmail.com for any question, complaint, refund request or abuse report.

2. Age and accounts

Pisces is a service for adults. You must be 18 or older to hold an account and to use the AI features. Children can enjoy Pisces together with a parent or guardian: the adult signs in, operates the account, and remains responsible for everything done with it.

Sign-in uses your Google account, and you must meet Google’s own account requirements. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. What Pisces is (and is not)

Everything the game produces — story text, images, narration — is generated live by an AI model (Google Gemini). It is fiction, improvised on the spot; it can be wrong, strange or inconsistent, and no output should be treated as factual or as advice.

Pisces is an early-access hobby project. Features may change, be paused (for example when daily capacity limits are reached), or be removed.

4. Credits

Play is powered by prepaid credits (1 credit = $0.01). Each action has a listed credit price — a story turn, a painted scene, narration, a compiled tale — shown on the pricing panel in the app.

Credits do not expire, are tied to your account, and cannot be transferred. If an AI action fails and delivers nothing, its credits are automatically refunded to your balance.

New accounts may receive a small one-time free credit grant. The free grant has no monetary value and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

5. Payments and your right of withdrawal

Credit packs are bought through Stripe’s secure checkout, at the USD price shown before you pay.

Because credits are digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (angrerett) for the delivered credits, as permitted by the Norwegian Cancellation Act § 22 n.

Fairness rule: for 14 days after a purchase, the unused part of that purchase’s credits is refundable on request — email alexanderarnesen+pisces@gmail.com. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

6. Fair use

Do not use Pisces to create or seek unlawful content, content that sexualizes minors, or content that harasses or defames real people. Do not try to bypass the safety filters, and do not run automated scripts against the service. Reasonable per-account rate limits apply.

7. Shared stories and moderation

You can copy a share link for a story setup you made; anyone with the link can start from it. You are responsible for what you share.

If you find a shared story that breaks these terms, report it to alexanderarnesen+pisces@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed, and shared content may be removed and accounts suspended for abuse.

8. Your content

What you write is yours, and Pisces claims no ownership of the tales you create — export them, print them, read them aloud, share them. The Pisces name, design and code remain the operator’s.

9. Availability and liability

Pisces is provided as-is, without warranties, and may be unavailable at times. To the extent permitted by law, the operator’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

10. Ending things

You can stop using Pisces at any time, and can request deletion of your account and its data by emailing alexanderarnesen+pisces@gmail.com. The operator may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Consumers can always contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or seek mediation through the Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet).
